Where end glow fiber concentrates light at a single tip, Nucleo's NL-SOF solid core side glow fiber is engineered to leak light steadily along its entire length — the polymer core scatters the internal light outward rather than trapping it. The result reads like a glowing rope or neon line rather than a series of points, and like all Nucleo fiber it is driven from a remote illuminator, keeping heat and electronics away from the finished surface entirely.
