Why the 300-Point Kit Looks More Natural
Real night skies aren't uniform — a handful of bright stars stand out against a field of faint ones. Installing the Kit
No licensed electrical work is required for the fiber side of the installation — only the engine's AC connection needs a standard wall socket, and an electrician is only needed if that cable has to be concealed inside a wall or void.
- Plan the layout — mark star positions on the ceiling panel or drywall; irregular spacing looks more natural than an even grid.
- Drill the holes — one per point, using the drill size matched to each fiber diameter.
- Thread the fibers — push each strand through from above, leaving a small stub on the visible side.
- Bundle into the engine — gather all fiber ends and insert into the 20mm input port, securing with the locking collar.
- Power up and trim — connect the engine, then trim the protruding stubs flush with the ceiling.
