CP Series Dimmable LED Power Supply

The CP Series is an ultra-slim constant voltage LED power supply designed for concealed indoor lighting installations. Measuring only 29mm in height, it slides inside LED aluminium profiles, false ceiling voids and furniture recesses that standard drivers cannot reach. What sets it apart is its five-in-one dimming compatibility — the same unit accepts Triac, 0-10V, 1-10V, 10V PWM or Resistor dimming signals, making it compatible with virtually any dimmer switch, wall controller or BMS output without changing the driver. Available in 12V, 24V and 48V DC across four wattage options from 60W to 200W.

5-in-1 Dimming Compatibility

One driver — five dimming methods. No need to specify a different driver for each control system:

🔁
Triac
Phase-cut dimming. Works with standard wall dimmers (leading/trailing edge). No extra wiring needed.
📉
0–10V
Industry-standard analogue signal. Compatible with BMS panels, KNX and 0-10V controllers.
📊
1–10V
Analogue dim signal with 1V minimum floor. Common in commercial dimming panels and ballast controllers.
〰️
10V PWM
Pulse width modulation control signal at 10V. For microcontroller, Arduino or PWM-output systems.
🎛️
Resistor Dim
Simple potentiometer or fixed resistor for manual dimming. Lowest-cost control option — no extra controller required.

✦ Soft, Smooth & Flicker-Free

The CP Series achieves high-frequency exemption level PWM dimming — eliminating visible and physiological flicker at every point in the 0–100% range. Smooth soft-start prevents pop-on, and the jitter-free output means no shimmer or instability at low dim levels. LED start is possible from as low as 1%, giving full expression at the deepest ambient settings without flicker, drop-out or cold-start issues.

Available Models

All models share an ultra-slim 29mm height. Choose output voltage and wattage to match your LED load and run length:

12V DC Output

Voltage Wattage Max Current Dimensions (L×W×H)
12V 60W 5.0 A 145 × 48 × 29 mm
12V 100W 8.3 A 160 × 48 × 29 mm
12V 150W 12.5 A 180 × 64 × 29 mm
12V 200W 16.7 A 205 × 64 × 29 mm

24V DC Output

Voltage Wattage Max Current Dimensions (L×W×H)
24V 60W 2.5 A 145 × 48 × 29 mm
24V 100W 4.2 A 160 × 48 × 29 mm
24V 150W 6.3 A 180 × 64 × 29 mm
24V 200W 8.3 A 205 × 64 × 29 mm

48V DC Output

Voltage Wattage Max Current Dimensions (L×W×H)
48V 100W 2.0 A 160 × 49 × 29 mm
48V 150W 3.0 A 180 × 63 × 29 mm
48V 200W 4.0 A 205 × 63 × 29 mm

Which voltage to choose? Use 12V for LED strip runs up to ~5m per channel. Use 24V for runs up to ~10m per channel with reduced voltage drop. Use 48V for very long strip runs (up to 20m+) or 48V-rated LED strip systems — ideal for large commercial coves, linear ceiling runs and continuous illumination without joins.

Frequently Asked Questions

What dimming protocols does the CP Series support?
Five protocols on one unit: Triac (phase-cut, works with standard wall dimmers), 0-10V analogue, 1-10V analogue, 10V PWM signal, and Resistor dimming. This means one driver model works with virtually any dimmer switch, BMS output, or potentiometer without rewiring or changing the driver.
What is the minimum dim level?
The full dimming range is 0–100% with LED start possible from as low as 1%. High-frequency flicker-free output is maintained at all dim levels — there is no flicker, shimmer or drop-out at low settings.
Why is the driver only 29mm thick?
The slim 29mm profile is designed for concealed installation inside LED aluminium channels, false ceiling voids, furniture cavities and shallow mounting boxes. The fanless free-air convection cooling design eliminates the need for a heatsink extension, keeping the unit compact without thermal compromise.
Which voltage should I choose — 12V, 24V or 48V?
Use 12V for LED strip runs up to ~5m per channel. Use 24V for runs up to ~10m to reduce voltage drop. Use 48V for very long runs (20m+) using 48V-rated LED strips — common in large commercial coves, continuous linear ceiling runs and architectural installations where joining strips would be impractical.
Is the CP Series suitable for LED strip and profile lighting?
Yes. The CP Series is a constant voltage driver — available in 12V, 24V and 48V — making it the correct type for LED strip lights, LED aluminium profile systems, neon flex, and any other constant voltage LED load. It is not suitable for driving individual COB modules or constant current fixtures directly.
What protections are included?
Overload protection, over-temperature protection, short circuit protection and over-voltage protection — all with automatic recovery. The driver shuts down safely on a fault and resumes automatically once the fault clears, without manual reset or fuse replacement.
Does Nucleo supply the CP Series across India?
Yes. Nucleo supplies CP Series dimmable LED power supplies pan-India from Mumbai — Delhi, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Jaipur and beyond. Contact us for project quantities and bulk pricing.
