When the Slot Is 4 mm, the Light Has to Be Smaller

A neon flex made for furniture, not for ceilings

Carpenters leave narrow grooves in wardrobes, shelves and cabinet edges, and most LED products simply do not fit them. Standard strips are 8 to 12 mm wide. Most neon flex is wider still. The result is lighting that gets bolted on the outside, or a groove that stays dark.

NLF-0410 is built for that gap. The silicone body is 4 mm wide and 10 mm deep, so it slides into the slot as it is. Inside it are 120 LEDs per metre, packed closely enough that the line looks continuous rather than dotted.

Length is just as tight. Every LED is a cut point, about 8.3 mm apart, so you can match a shelf or panel almost exactly and avoid the dead stub of unlit flex that coarser products leave behind.

Fit the length, not the nearest 50 mm

Conventional neon flex cuts every 25 to 50 mm. With a cut at every LED you can finish within about 8 mm of the exact length, which matters when a cabinet is only a few hundred millimetres wide.

What You Get

Seven practical reasons to specify it

📏

4 mm Slot Fit

Slides into narrow aluminium furniture channels and routed grooves.

💡

No Visible Dots

120 LEDs per metre blend into one unbroken line of light.

✂️

Per-LED Cutting

Trim at every 8.3 mm for an exact fit with no waste.

🛡️

Silicone Body

Flexible and resistant to dust and humidity inside furniture.

⚡

24V Supply

Lower voltage drop gives even brightness on runs up to about 5 metres.

🎚️

Dimmable

Works with 24V PWM dimmers for full light or a soft night mode.

🚪

Sensor Ready

Pairs with 24V door switches, PIR sensors and push buttons.

🌡️

Choose the colour temperature by room

3000K warm white suits wardrobes and bedrooms. 4000K neutral white suits kitchens and display shelves where colour accuracy matters. 6000K cool white suits utility areas and crisp, modern interiors.

📺

TV and Media Units

Edge glow behind panels and recesses.

🖼️

Display Cases

Slim lighting for showcases and vitrines.

🏠

Slim Ceiling Reveals

Shadow-gap slots too narrow for wider flex.

🔌

Planning the install

Seat the flex in the groove, then cut only at the marked cut points. Use a 24V constant-voltage driver sized for your total run, and keep a little air circulation around the flex in closed wardrobes. Feed longer runs from both ends.

Frequently Asked Questions

Installation and specification, answered

A slot at least 4 mm wide and 10 mm deep. The slim body slides into narrow aluminium furniture channels and routed grooves that standard strips and neon flex cannot enter.

At 120 LEDs per metre the cut points are about 8.3 mm apart, so you can trim to within roughly 8 mm of the length you need. Cut only at the marked cut points.

24V reduces voltage drop so brightness stays even along the run. Runs of up to about 5 metres can be fed from one end. For longer lengths, feed from both ends or use a second driver output.

No. With 120 LEDs per metre behind a silicone body, the light reads as one continuous line once it is seated in its groove.

Yes. It works with 24V PWM dimmers and with 24V door switches, PIR sensors and push-button switches wired in line with the supply.

Choose 3000K for warm wardrobes and bedrooms, 4000K for kitchens and display shelves, and 6000K for utility areas and crisp modern interiors.

LED neon flex runs much cooler than halogen or fluorescent lighting. Leave some air circulation and avoid covering it with fabric or insulation.
