This Refund and Cancellation Policy ("Policy") outlines the terms regarding the cancellation of orders and the refund rules that apply to all purchases made through www.nucleolights.com. By placing an order with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this Policy.
1. No Refund Policy
Due to the nature of our products — which include made-to-order, custom-designed, and decorative lighting fixtures — Nucleo Lights operates a strict no-refund policy. Once payment has been received and the order has been processed, the transaction is considered final and non-refundable.
This policy applies to, but is not limited to:
- All decorative, designer, and standard lighting fixtures.
- Custom-made, made-to-order, or personalized products.
- Bulbs, electrical components, and installation accessories.
- Clearance, sale, or promotional items.
- Items damaged due to improper installation or misuse by the customer.
2. Order Cancellation
Cancellations are accepted only under the conditions outlined below. Once an order has been packed, dispatched, or handed over to the courier, it can no longer be cancelled.
2.1 Cancellation Window
Customers may request to cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it, provided the order has not yet been processed for dispatch. Cancellation requests submitted after this window will not be entertained.
2.2 Custom or Made-to-Order Items
Custom, bespoke, or made-to-order products cannot be cancelled once production has begun, regardless of the cancellation window. These items are crafted specifically for you and cannot be resold.
2.3 How to Cancel
To request a cancellation within the eligible window, please contact us on WhatsApp at +91 85911 41102 with your order number and reason for cancellation. Requests made through any other channel will not be accepted.
3. Approved Cancellation — Refund Process
If a cancellation request is approved within the eligible window and before dispatch, the refund will be processed as follows:
- Refunds will be issued to the original method of payment.
- A processing fee or payment gateway charge (typically 2–3% of the order value) may be deducted.
- Refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days from the date of approval.
- Bank or card processing times may add additional days before the refund reflects in your account.
4. Damaged or Defective Products
While all sales are final, Nucleo Lights stands behind the quality of its products. If you receive a product that is damaged in transit or has a manufacturing defect, you must notify us within 48 hours of delivery via WhatsApp at +91 85911 41102 with:
- Your order number and date of delivery.
- Clear photographs and/or a video of the damaged or defective product.
- Photographs of the outer packaging (if damaged in transit).
On verification, we will, at our sole discretion, offer a replacement or repair of the affected product. Cash refunds will not be issued in such cases.
4.1 Conditions for Replacement
To qualify for a replacement, the following conditions must be met:
- The claim is raised within 48 hours of delivery.
- The product is unused, uninstalled, and in its original packaging.
- All accessories, manuals, tags, and free items are returned along with the product.
- The damage or defect is not the result of misuse, mishandling, or improper installation.
5. Non-Returnable Items
The following items are strictly non-returnable, non-refundable, and non-exchangeable:
- Items marked as "Final Sale," "Clearance," or "Non-Returnable" on the product page.
- Custom, bespoke, and personalized lighting products.
- Bulbs and electrical components that have been opened, used, or installed.
- Products without original packaging, tags, or accessories.
- Products damaged due to customer mishandling or improper installation.
6. Order Modifications
Once an order is placed, changes to product variants, quantities, or shipping addresses may not be possible. Any modification request must be sent within 24 hours of placing the order and is subject to approval at our sole discretion.
7. Failed or Undelivered Shipments
In the rare event that a shipment is lost in transit or returned to us due to incorrect address details provided by the customer, repeated delivery failures, or refusal to accept the parcel, the customer will be responsible for re-shipping charges. No refund will be issued for such orders.
8. Right to Refuse
Nucleo Lights reserves the right to refuse, cancel, or reject any order or cancellation request at our sole discretion. Reasons may include but are not limited to: suspected fraudulent activity, product unavailability, pricing errors, or violation of our Terms & Conditions.
9. Changes to This Policy
Nucleo Lights reserves the right to update, modify, or replace this Policy at any time without prior notice. The latest version will always be posted on this page with the updated effective date. Continued use of the Website and placement of new orders constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
