NLL-400D 3mm COB LED Strip: one clean line of light, only 3mm wide
A 24V COB strip on a 3mm board that glows as one smooth line, even in the shallowest slot, with CRI above 90 and a warm 3000K tone.
Narrow slots are where LED dots show most
The slimmer the slot, the closer the diffuser sits to the LEDs, and the harder it is to hide them. A conventional strip in a shallow groove usually shows a row of bright points. The NLL-400D uses COB (chip-on-board) construction on a 3mm board, so the output is one even line, visible directly or through the thinnest diffuser.
Best use
Choose it where the light line is seen: shelf edges, wardrobe frames, display cases and slim ceiling grooves.
Prepare the groove first
Check your fitting and supply voltage before ordering. Share details with Nucleo and we will confirm compatibility.
Why choose it
Continuous, dot-free line
COB construction places a dense row of chips under one phosphor layer, so the strip reads as a single line of light.
Only 3mm wide
The slim board fits routed grooves and slim profiles that standard 5mm and 8mm strips cannot use.
CRI above 90
Timber, stone, fabric and merchandise keep natural, accurate colour under the light.
3000K warm white
A warm, comfortable tone suited to homes, hospitality and premium joinery.
Cut every 2cm
Fine cut points let a run end almost exactly at the edge of a shelf, niche or cabinet.
24V, 10W per metre
Straightforward power sizing: 10W per metre plus about 20% driver headroom.
Works with thin diffusers
Dot-free output stays smooth even where the diffuser sits very close to the strip.

Allow 10W per metre plus about 20% headroom when selecting the 24V driver.
Feed long runs both ends
On longer runs, feed power from both ends to keep brightness even along the line.

Frequently asked questions
COB places many small chips in a dense row under one continuous coating, so the output looks like a single line instead of a row of bright dots.
3mm PCB width, 24V, 10W per metre, CRI above 90, 3000K warm white, cut every 2cm and supplied in 5m rolls.
Multiply 10W by the run length in metres and add about 20% headroom. A 5m roll draws 50W, so a 60W 24V driver suits it.
Only on the printed cut marks, which fall every 2cm.
Use a slim aluminium profile or routed groove with a base of at least 3mm to manage heat and keep the line straight. A thin diffuser is optional given the dot-free output.
On longer runs, feed power from both ends to keep brightness even. Share your run lengths with Nucleo for guidance.
